There is a saying that there is a thin line between love and hate and this can be compared to all relationships including siblings.
Sibling love is pure, wonderful yet volatile and can become toxic within a twinkle of an eye.. The responsibility falls on parents in ensuring that their children love each other unconditionally.
You may know of some siblings that are not on talking terms or do not see eye to eye. Their children do not talk to each other because of their parents rivalry… This can affect generations of this family from parents to kids and gran kids…. Its really pathetic.
One of the means of achieving this is by loving and showing love equally, no favoritism! Yes this can be absolutely difficult as some say, you cannot love your children equally. Most families will always have a favorite child among-st the rest for reasons known to the parent/parents.
Whichever way, parents must ensure the manage their children relationships with fairness and wisdom. Jealousy can set in even with young children not to talk of adults.
The harm sibling rivalry causes is more than one can imagine hence parents must consistently be alert in parenting their children and addressing issues that come up at any point in time before it escalates and becomes unmanageable.
